Staff Accountant
seeking a blend of financial reporting, analysis, and operational accounting.
Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant
Prepare accurate and timely monthly and year-end financial statements for assigned divisions
Complete balance sheet reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting documentation
Record journal entries and ensure transactions are properly classified in accordance with GAAP
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Support portfolio needs including financial reporting, property tax tracking, and investment schedule maintenance
Qualifications for the Staff Accountant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
2+ years of GAAP accounting or tax experience (public or private)
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial reporting
