Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and staff supervision Maintain accurate prescription records and manage third-party reimbursements Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure safe and effective medication use Oversee mail order pharmacy processes and inventory management Monitor pharmaceutical storage, distribution, and compliance with state and federal regulations Review and approve inpatient and outpatient medication orders Support community engagement efforts to promote pharmacy services

Education, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (RPh) required Doctorate in pharmacy (Pharm.D) preferred Must have graduated from an accredited college of pharmacy EXPERIENCE/TRAINING At least two (2) years experience preferred Experience in both inpatient and retail pharmacy preferred Knowledge of mail order processes preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION Licensed Pharmacist issued by the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy required Must maintain education credits for applicable certification requirements
