A high-growth, private equity–backed national services platform is seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead its people strategy across a multi-site operational footprint. This organization serves both residential and commercial clients nationwide and is expanding rapidly through organic growth and acquisition.
About the Role The VP of HR will be a strategic business partner to executive leadership, responsible for building and executing a best-in-class HR function. This leader will oversee talent acquisition, organizational design, total rewards, employee engagement, and compliance, driving programs that scale with growth and strengthen culture across the platform.
Responsibilities
Lead the full scope of HR operations, systems, and strategy across all divisions and regions.
Partner closely with the executive team to align HR initiatives with business and financial objectives.
Design and implement workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development programs.
Oversee employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives.
Build scalable recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning frameworks.
Lead compensation, benefits, and total rewards strategy to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
Support integration and cultural alignment for new acquisitions.
Champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging efforts that align with company values.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including 5+ in a senior executive capacity.
Experience leading HR in a multi-site services, construction, or field operations environment.
Proven success implementing HR systems and scalable infrastructure.
Strong background in organizational design, talent strategy, and change management.
Experience supporting growth through M&A integration and workforce scaling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or SHRM‑SCP/SPHR preferred.
