to find an adaptable and results-oriented leader to serve as the new Director of Sales.Located in the Arena District in downtown Tulsa, Arvest Convention Center is a modern and award-winning venue providing over 275,000 SF of flexible event space, including Oklahoma’s largest banquet space (41,470 SF). ACC offers OVG Hospitality in-house catering led by Executive Head Chef Devin Levine, who was voted Chef of the Year twice, achieved one bronze & two silver medals in ACF culinary competitions, and was voted Best Country Club Chef in Oklahoma.As an **Oak View Group (OVG)**managed facility, the Arvest Convention Center benefits from the expertise, resources, and nationwide network of the global leader in live experience venue development, management, and hospitality, OVG’s support provides industry-leading best practices, cutting-edge sales and marketing tools, premium hospitality standards, and a collaborative network of convention centers, arenas, and performing arts venues across the country—offering the Director of Sales a strong foundation, strategic partnership, and extensive organizational backing to drive growth and success.Directly reporting to the General Manager of ACC, the primary role of the Director of Sales is to manage the sales team to ensure that the highest quality and standards for revenue, economic impact goals, and departmental sales goals and objectives are met for each fiscal year. The DOS is responsible for providing oversight of day-to-day activitieswhile maximizing targeted booking opportunities within the short-term 24-month timeframe. This position works collaboratively and collectively with the Tulsa CVB for the Convention Center.This position requires an energetic, innovative, knowledgeable, revenue-driven, strong hospitality sales professional to be accountable for the OVG’s mission to promote and sell the ACC as a priority meeting space for TULSA. This is accomplished by developing and implementing ongoing strategic initiatives that will positively impact revenue.
