Director of Finance | Full-Time | BOK Center & Arvest Convention Center Oak View Group is the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. The company operates the BOK Center and Arvest Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Position Summary The Director of Finance is a member of the senior management team. They plan and direct all aspects of financial, accounting, purchasing, and internal control functions for the venues, supervising the Finance Department and ensuring compliance with OVG policies and applicable laws.

Salary & Benefits

Annual Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 (bonus eligible)

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing facility goals and priorities related to financial management, budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and payroll.

Hire, train, and develop all Finance employees; handle discipline or termination as needed.

Monitor compliance with all provisions of the management contract.

Maintain contact with Risk Management and Insurance broker for coverage coordination.

Review all contracts for clients, events, subcontractors, food & beverage or concessionaires.

Review and/or prepare event settlements.

Execute checks and deposits; review daily cash receipts and disbursements.

Oversee box office and ticket sale receipts and reporting.

Oversee food and beverage accounting.

Assist with show settlement including payments to promoters and prepare show income/loss reports.

Oversee venue payroll.

Prepare state and local tax returns timely.

Prepare financial statements for the client and corporate, monthly statements, annual budget and related reports.

Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property and operating expense records.

Analyze financial performance and cost analyses for all departments; provide monthly statements and recommend actions to meet business goals.

Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.

Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and financial reporting; implement client recommendations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four‑year college or university.

5‑7+ years of public accounting and/or financial management experience at a supervisory level or as a department head.

Knowledge of general and cost accounting.

Strong math skills and aptitude for figures.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Effective supervisory skills.

Must pass a background and credit check per guidelines.

Experience with ADP payroll and Sage accounting preferred.

Industry experience preferred.

CPA or MBA is a plus.
