SAP - Data Senior Manager - Tech Consulting - Location OPEN
EY is looking for a SAP Data Senior Manager to lead consulting engagements that apply SAP technology to improve client operations. Location: Anywhere in Country.
Overview As a Senior Manager in Data Management and Strategy, you’ll help clients design and implement data governance frameworks, conduct maturity assessments, and align data strategies with business objectives. You will manage client relationships, deliver engagements, and travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.
Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics.
Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.
Design and apply comprehensive methods and practices to govern the entire lifecycle of data assets.
Perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and road‑maps.
Navigate organizational dynamics to ensure quality and risk management on complex projects.
Travel regularly to meet client needs.

Experience leading teams and managing organizational change within complex organizations.
Commercial acumen and negotiation skills to identify new opportunities.

Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into SAP and non‑SAP solutions.
Proven ability to construct and direct technology projects in line with organizational goals.
Expertise in project and program delivery methodologies, mentoring and developing others.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking to drive sales, business growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
5–7 years of relevant experience with one or more SAP modules and full‑cycle implementations.
Strong knowledge of Data Privacy principles.
Expertise in Master Data Management practices.
Experience with Data Governance frameworks and Enterprise Data Strategy.
Proficiency in Metadata Management and Ontology Design.
Knowledge of IT Operating Models and Data Fabric concepts.
Prior consulting experience and specialized skills in Data Fabric, Data Governance, Enterprise IT Architecture, and related disciplines.
Strong written and verbal communication, client service and technical writing skills.
Experience managing SAP projects or work streams and project‑based teams.
Knowledge of leading practices and benchmarking in finance and technology advisory.
Ability to research client inquiries, regulations and emerging technologies.
Proven governance and leadership oversight for enterprise SAP data migration programs.
Willingness to travel for client engagements.
Ideal Additional Experience
Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture.
Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques.
Emotional agility for navigating complex interpersonal dynamics.
Enterprise SAP Data Migration, Master Data Governance and Data Analytics expertise.
Proactive approach to identifying and solving client issues.
