At Raytheon, the Radar Digital Products Department seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong FPGA verification skills to contribute to cutting‑edge, defense‑quality hardware and software development. The role involves working in a team environment, collaborating across disciplines, and providing development support throughout the product lifecycle—from concept through acceptance and maintenance.
What You Will Do
Work as part of a highly motivated team.
Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams in a larger program or internal research and development effort.
Verify FPGA interfaces, controls and/or signal‑processing designs.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience with FPGAs and/or ASICs using UVMF, UVM, and/or OVM.
Experience in at least 3 of the following:
Experience with Xilinx or Intel programmable devices.
Experience with VHDL/SystemVerilog simulation tools, QuestaSim or NCSim.
Experience using synthesis tool Synplify.
Experience with back‑end tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
Experience in hardware integration, CCA/PCB design, FPGA design or embedded software.
Experience with Mentor Graphics UVMF‑based test benches.
Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with hardware interfaces and data protocols such as gigabit Ethernet, JESD, RS‑422, USB, PCIe, etc.
Working knowledge of configuration‑management tools such as Synergy, Clearcase, or Git.
Experience with high‑speed interfaces such as SRIO, Aurora, timing closure, and utilizing Chipscope.
Knowledge of software driver integration for hardware interfaces.
Working knowledge of Linux, C/C++ and/or scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python.

Base salary is a good‑faith estimate and is influenced by experience, function, and responsibilities.
