Posting Summary The Department of Pediatrics is seeking physicians who are board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Faculty members must have an MD degree. Faculty members will have both clinical and academic responsibilities consistent with Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The candidates will participate in the educational, patient care, research, and other academic activities of the Department of Pediatrics. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities, there may be opportunities to participate in research in areas of interest with other faculty members. The physicians will join 10 full‑time faculty members who provide 24/7 in‑house EM coverage. The candidates may also have the opportunity to participate in either clinical or lab‑based research. The clinical services of the division of pediatric emergency medicine are conducted at Bristol‑Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital ( BMSCH ) of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. The campus is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey and is centrally located, close to New York City, Philadelphia and the “Jersey shore” as well as the recreational areas of eastern Pennsylvania.
