Chief Executive Officer – Behavioral Health Platform
Location: Greenville, SC or Charlotte, NC
We are partnering with a rapidly growing behavioral health organization to identify a Chief Executive Officer who will shape, build, and scale a multi‑location platform delivering ketamine therapy, medication management, counseling, and FDA‑approved Spravato services. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced multi‑site operator to take a high‑demand, high‑growth clinical model and lead it into its next stage of expansion.
About the Opportunity The organization began as a ketamine clinic and quickly expanded into broader behavioral health due to overwhelming patient demand. With three locations (one fully operational, one early‑stage, and one ready to scale), the business has strong financial performance, a hybrid cash/insurance revenue model, and extremely low‑cost clinic build‑outs that enable fast expansion.
Leadership is seeking a CEO to replace the founder in day‑to‑day operations, build a scalable operating system, and drive market expansion across the Southeast.
What You’ll Lead Operational Infrastructure & Standardization (First 6–12 Months)
Build a scalable clinic playbook, SOPs, and repeatable workflows
Strengthen operational systems around ketamine, counseling, medication management, and Spravato
Improve scheduling, patient flow, financial visibility, and KPI management
Streamline revenue‑cycle processes, credentialing workflows, and insurance‑driven operations
Centralize call center operations to support multiple markets
Partner closely with the Director of Operations (recently hired from a major health system)
Platform Build & Multi‑Site Growth
Scale the Anderson clinic into full‑time operations
Launch and expand the Charlotte location (space already secured)
Identify new markets and drive strategic expansion
Create staffing models and training programs to support a multi‑location footprint
Ensure providers, nurses, and NPs are efficiently onboarded, credentialed, and retained
Build the organizational structure needed for 5–10+ locations over time
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven success leading and scaling multi‑site healthcare or behavioral health operations
Deep understanding of insurance‑based care, credentialing, authorizations, and RCM
Experience in hybrid models (cash pay + insurance) strongly preferred
Strong operational discipline with the ability to build systems and processes from scratch
Thrives in high‑demand, fast‑moving environments with operational complexity
Demonstrated ability to launch new clinics and create replicable playbooks
Leadership experience in behavioral health, ketamine/Spravato services, outpatient psychiatry, medspa, or other high‑throughput clinical models
A builder who enjoys structure, clarity, and operational excellence
