Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float position in an ICU setting, requiring a MA RN license and at least 3 years of ICU experience.
Responsibilities
Critical Care Float position covering ICU units in a hospital setting
Night shifts, 12 hours each, three shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
Every other weekend and every other holiday are required
Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
Epic EMR experience is preferred
Position involves floating to different critical care units based on hospital needs
Responsibilities include providing high acuity care to critically ill patients
Missed shifts must be made up at the end of the assignment
Holiday coverage is required according to unit policy
Requirements
Active MA RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
At least 3 years of ICU nursing experience required, with preference for 5 years or more in a level 1 trauma facility
Pass/fail EKG test required before starting
Must provide two references for consideration, including one from a Nurse Manager or higher
Cannot have any priors on nursing license
Must live at least 200 miles from the facility for eligibility
