Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department Level 1 Trauma position in Massachusetts with an active MA RN license and AHA certifications required.
Responsibilities
Work in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department setting
Assignment is for 13 weeks with day/night rotation or nights
Patient population includes a wide range of acute emergency and trauma cases
EPIC is the charting system used in this department
Holiday and every other weekend shifts are required
Ready to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced trauma environment
Must provide proof of MA licensure for consideration
Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
Parking is not validated; candidates should plan for public transportation or daily parking costs
Holiday and weekend availability is mandatory
2 professional references required for consideration
Requirements
Active RN license in Massachusetts; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
No minimum years of experience specified but Level 1 Trauma ED acute care experience required
Experience using EPIC EMR system preferred
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted
