Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and current AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
3x12 hour shifts per week with varied start times
Up to 3 night calls required every 6 weeks
Patient care is provided in a post-anesthesia recovery environment
EPIC charting system is used and experience is recommended
Responsibilities include post-anesthesia patient monitoring and care
Flu vaccine is mandatory during flu season
Parking is available at cost with limited validation; public transport is recommended in some locations
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
Dress code and further assignment details provided upon onboarding
Requirements
Active, non-conditional MA RN license required at time of consideration
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Primary source license verification via NURSYS and board of nursing
Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
