Domino’s Pizza is hiring Assistant Managers. This role offers you the potential to become an owner‑operator or franchisee with minimal upfront investment. Success requires strong leadership, judgment, basic math, and multitasking skills.
About the Job As Assistant Manager, you will oversee all store operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, cost control, inventory management, and staff performance. You are accountable for the entire shift and for modeling company policy and procedures for every employee.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations during your shift.
Staffing, scheduling, and paperwork execution.
Maintain the store’s appearance, cleanliness, and marketing initiatives to support profitability.
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients, prepare products, and accept telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
Clean equipment and facilities regularly.
Serve customers, provide accurate change, and process orders quicklty.
Use a computer or touchscreen to enter orders and perform navigation for deliveries.
Deliver product within the designated area, use the vehicle safely, and distribute flyers or door hangers.
Adhere to safety and health policies in varying weather conditions and exposure to food‑related hazards.
Skills & Qualifications
Arithmetic proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, divide accurately and quickly.
Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
Strong motor coordination for rapid, precise movements.
Navigation skills for in‑area delivery, including use of maps and GPS.
Basic computer proficiency for order entry.
Ability to read and follow written instructions accurately.
Valid driver's license with a clean record and access to an insured delivery vehicle.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying outdoor and indoor temperatures.
Handling food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
Work in cramped areas such as walk‑in coolers.
Potential contact with sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Requirements
Standing for most tasks; walking short distances frequently.
Standing, walking, and occasional sitting during paperwork.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry items such as pizza sauce (30 lbs) or trays of dough (12 lbs).
Climbing or walking several flights of stairs when required for delivery.
Bending, stooping, and crouching when stocking shelves or cleaning low areas.
Reaching above 72 in. to operate ovens or change sign prices.
Driving vehicles for product delivery within a designated area.
