Associate Attorney – Antitrust & Competition Base pay range: $265,000 – $435,000 per year.

A leading AmLaw firm with a growing antitrust practice seeks an experienced associate to handle high‑stakes antitrust matters in both litigation and transactional arenas. The role is available in Washington, DC and New York City.

Responsibilities

Manage HSR filings and second‑request responses for mergers and acquisitions.

Defend clients in DOJ and FTC civil and criminal investigations.

Draft and negotiate antitrust‑risk provisions in transaction agreements.

Conduct antitrust due diligence and prepare competition assessments.

Advise on antitrust compliance programs and pricing strategies.

Interface directly with regulatory agencies and coordinate with economic experts.

Qualifications

2+ years of antitrust practice, preferably at a large firm or an AmLaw firm.

Experience in merger‑clearance proceedings, government investigations, or complex antitrust litigation.

Admitted to practice in New York or DC.

Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent matters in a fast‑paced environment.
