What the Network Support Technician will do…

Maintain and administer

computer networks and related environments , including hardware, software, firewalls, and configurations Protect data and systems by implementing

network security measures

and monitoring performance Troubleshoot and resolve

hardware, software, and network issues

across multiple platforms Configure and manage

layer 2/layer 3 switches, routers, firewalls , and access policies Assist in developing and testing

enterprise-wide security and patch management

strategies Utilize IT ticketing systems for

service requests and change control documentation Train staff on network systems and security best practices Design and document

network diagrams

for planning and communication

What the company needs in a Network Support Technician:

Technical & Functional Skills Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent technical certifications 3+ years of experience in

network administration and security Strong understanding of

network infrastructure, architecture, and protocols

in a Microsoft Hyper-V environment Ability to implement and troubleshoot

firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points , and SD-WAN Proficiency in

firewall rules, access control policies , and network documentation Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and ability to work with internal teams and vendors Organized and proactive in managing multiple priorities
