Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with a current CA license and strong airway and anesthesia recovery skills.
Responsibilities
Work in the PACU unit within a hospital setting
8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Care for patients recovering from anesthesia and manage post‑op pain
Assignment includes duties in pre‑op and extended care units as needed
Float to other campuses may be required
May provide care in both preoperative and extended care units in addition to PACU
Must be comfortable working with a variety of surgical cases and managing complex patient needs
Must be willing to float to other campuses as needed during the assignment
Requirements
Active CA RN license
Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
Experience in airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
Preferred: CCRN or CPAN certification
Preferred: 2 years of critical care experience
