Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join a new high-end cosmetic surgery/medispa office planned to open by December 2025. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing surgical procedures, managing patient care before and after surgery, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients. Duties First assist on surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of care. Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations to evaluate patients' medical histories and current health status. Manage post-operative care, including monitoring recovery, addressing complications, and providing follow-up care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, risks, and post-operative care instructions. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Utilize aseptic techniques during surgeries to minimize the risk of infection. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and physical examinations as part of the patient assessment process. Requirements Physician Assistant Degree from an accredited institution. Active License in Pennsylvania. Proven experience in a hospital setting and office setting. Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical terminology is essential. Ability to perform suturing and other essential surgical skills. Experience with telehealth services is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
