In Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. The Effectors Center in SETC seeks Systems Engineers focused on Hardware Integration and Qualification/Verification testing. In this role you will be hands‑on, supporting the successful completion of test events and the associated analysis of test data.
What You Will Do
Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications and requirements.
Perform data collection activities, including review and analysis of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results.
Trace and/or correct faults in mechanical or electronic systems. Familiarity with failure reporting, analysis, corrective action and/or fault tree analysis.
Create/modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, including Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
Support field testing and occasional travel for durations typically one to two weeks.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Hardware Systems Integration experience, with preference for integration on military platforms.
Platform Integration and/or Flight Test experience.
Experience supporting field tests or systems deployed in the field.
Experience with Verification and Validation methods.
U.S. citizenship and an active and transferable DoD government‑issued security clearance required prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience collecting and evaluating data to diagnose and solve technical issues.
Experience creating integration and verification strategies.
Technician experience working on military platforms (Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, Ground Based, Ship‑based).
Experience in integration with test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customer community in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
Technical leadership with capture/pursuit experience, including contribution or authoring of white papers, RFI responses, and proposal of technical volumes.
