An Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily hotel operations to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Responsibilities
Assist in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, balanced scorecard performance, company policies, brand standards, sales and marketing initiatives, guest inquiries, and concerns.
Serve as the multi‑department head for Operations, Front Office, and Property Operations.
Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing, and evaluating department heads.
Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and financial measurement.
Identify operational performance gaps and implement corrective measures.
Ensure guest and team member satisfaction.
Act as General Manager in his or her absence.
