Program Manager . This is an exempt position in support of the government customer located in
Washington, DC .
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) and provide management and oversight for the contract and program.
Develop work plans, reports, quality checks, and continuous improvement actions.
Oversee deployment of all program criteria and manage program financials.
Interact with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), technical leadership, and senior leadership.
Identify opportunities to provide additional services and assist in developing management plans, procedures, and methodology.
Provide accounting operations support, including deep research into accounting discrepancies and cleanup efforts.
Experience Required
Serve as the contractor’s main point of contact and overall performance.
Responsible for all aspects of development and implementation of assigned projects and provide a single point of contact for those projects.
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
Interface with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.
Define project scope and objectives.
Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
Conduct project meetings and track and analyze project progress.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
Manage integration of vendor tasks and review vendor deliverables.
Provide strategic, technical and analytical guidance to project team.
Recommend and take action to direct analysis and solutions of problems from experience advising senior leadership on IT strategic work.
Qualifications Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
Active SECRET clearance.
15 years of IT program management experience.
PMP/PMI certification.
Minimum 5 years with Agile methodologies and project management.
Desired Qualifications
Excellent communication skills.
Solid relationship building ability.
Quality certification (ITIL or similar).
