Insurance Defense Attorney – Hybrid Locations (NYC, Long Island, White Plains)
Base pay range: $150,000 – $225,000 per year. Additional benefits include hybrid/remote flexibility, generous annual bonuses, mentorship, and long‑term career growth.
We are a legacy insurance defense firm with over 70 years of experience, seeking attorneys at all levels to join a team dedicated to litigation excellence. We represent a broad range of clients in complex negligence, tort, and insurance defense matters.
Responsibilities
- Handle insurance defense litigation, including complex negligence and tort matters.
- Represent clients in auto liability and motor vehicle accident cases, as well as general liability, medical malpractice, slip & fall, premises liability, labor law, and construction defect cases.
- Participate in trial preparation and pretrial procedures, such as discovery, depositions, and trial advocacy.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to client strategy and case management.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Experience with auto liability and motor vehicle accident cases.
- Additional relevant experience in general liability, medical malpractice, slip & fall, premises liability, labor law, and construction defect preferred.
- Bonus: 1st or 2nd chair trial experience.
