You will be working 100% on client engagements with a strong background in health plan data and technical expertise in SQL, Python, and/or ETL processes. In this role, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to uncover insights from complex datasets, develop impactful data solutions, and support strategic decision‑making across healthcare payer organizations. You will undergo an intensive period of learning while supporting our engagements. You are expected to demonstrate learning and skill development within a short period. About You
- Experienced consultant in the healthcare environment with a proven track record of solving complex problems
- 4–6 years of hands‑on experience with SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and model development.
- Experience in ETL processes and working with data warehousing solutions.
- Designer and executor of data analytics. You conceive new data analysis methods, draw insights from complex datasets, and create strategic narratives for senior management teams
- Understanding of data architecture mapping diagrams and analysis to generate recommendations
- Understanding of constructing and evaluating business process workflows within and in support of applications
- Ability to consume and translate business requirements into functional technical requirements
- Experience working with mainframe data extraction is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in the health plan or adjacent industry is mandatory
- Understanding of multiple business functions and areas within a health plan.
- Ability to speak about healthcare issues and topics with competence and confidence.
- Able to create presentation for all health plan operations and strategy improvements.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to manage competing priorities with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Focused on customer success through developing trusting relationships and always choosing to do the right thing.
- Collaborative leader who can identify opportunities for improvement and carve out the path to solutions.
- Prioritizes personal and professional development and is always ready to stretch their abilities to the next level.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Able to travel according to client needs.

At Impact Advisors, we prioritize transparency and equity in our compensation practices. This role has a salary range of $95,000 to $135,000 and may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range accounts for various factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
