Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the first point of contact for patients, providing support during routine visits or diagnostic testing.
• This entry-level role involves greeting patients, addressing concerns with compassion, maintaining the waiting area, and learning phlebotomy skills to advance within the organization.
• The position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills.

• Greet patients and assist with questions and check-in via kiosk or handheld tablet.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area.
• Assist with coverage when other Phlebotomists are unavailable.
• Learn and perform phlebotomy tasks, including specimen collection and processing, once trained.
• Perform daily tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Keep required records and documentation updated.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate patient assistance.
• Willingness to learn phlebotomy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Keyboard and data entry proficiency.

• 1 2 years of client-facing customer service experience (e.g., retail, home health aide).
• No prior phlebotomy experience required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
