Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who visit for routine health needs or important diagnostic testing.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing while following established procedures.
• This role requires creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while performing phlebotomy in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months experience required.
• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
