What to Expect
The Tesla Megapack Business Operations team is seeking a motivated Sales Operations Specialist to support all operational aspects of Megapack business operations including contract coordination, order management, delivery planning, cashflow management, and customer issue resolution. You will be a critical member of our Commercial team, and partner with our Tesla Commercial B2B Sales teams to 1) take potential deals through established contract review and approval process, including project coordinate cross-functional review until contract execution by deal deadline, 2) handle all post-sales action items including ensuring accurate order and contractual obligation is actioned by appropriate teams, and 3) partake in business process improvement.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role that will directly support Megapack business growth and accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. You will be the go-to-person to improve internal processes/systems, review legal documents, ensure timely invoicing and Megapack delivery (in partnership with Finance Operations and Logistics), and manage contract data and future obligations (in partnership with Asset Management and Service).
You will have the opportunity to lead internal cross-functional teams come up with creative solutions for complex commercial and operational problems. You will be exposed to a wide range of business, operations and legal subjects, e.g. B2B sales, project deployment, tax, accounting, demand planning, secured transactions, IT system development, process optimization, etc.
What You'll Do
Contracting Support: Monitor upcoming contract queue, support Utilities Sales team in obtaining all approvals until Tesla and the customer are ready to proceed. Perform contract verification, quality assurance and execution. Post-contract execution, manage documentation and ensure contract metadata is captured accurately in proper internal systems
Order management: Process sales orders, and partner with Finance Ops in generating invoices/credit notes
Delivery management: Partner with Logistics and Industrial Deployment team to coordinate Megapack and accessories delivery. Monitor and mitigate delivery risk and support Accounting in any audit request
Data integrity: Take full ownership to ensure business transactional data integrity across all Tesla systems/applications. Generate weekly metrics and monitor the state of contracts, orders, and Megapack delivery
Customer Support: Problem-solve and address all requests from Customers, Sales, Logistics, Service, Finance, and other departments with minimal management guidance or supervision. Address issues with a strong sense of urgency
Process Improvement: Actively identify and submit business process improvement ideas, support the implementation of such process/system improvements
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
1+ years of hands-on work in contract, analytics and operations, or equivalent experience in complex order management, delivery and planning
Proficient with ERP, customer relationship management, and order/material management platforms, as well as Word/Excel/PDF is required
Ability to learn new topics quickly, coordinate cross-functional problem solving
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively multi-task and handle stress

Expected Compensation $72,000 - $138,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
