Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a short-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role involves supporting daily operations by managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling general administrative tasks. - Manage and coordinate schedules, ensuring all meetings and appointments are organized efficiently.
- Take accurate and detailed meeting notes, including board minutes, and distribute them to relevant parties.
- Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records and ensure the integrity of office systems.
- Handle inbound calls professionally, providing assistance and routing calls as needed.
- Support office operations by maintaining files and organizing documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal use.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure administrative processes run effectively.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including responding to emails and inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong proficiency in data entry and office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take clear and concise meeting notes and minutes.
