Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our company's financial operations through efficient handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting tasks. Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct thorough data entry to ensure financial records are complete and error-free.
- Manage invoice processing and track payments to vendors.
- Collaborate with team members to handle payroll tasks and ensure employee compensation is accurate.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by reviewing and analyzing account information.
- Maintain organized financial documentation to support audits and reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for management review.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, to streamline daily operations.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing or payment issues.
- Support other administrative and accounting tasks as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
