As an Access Control Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. - Control access to the facility by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the premises in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and directions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and observe for irregularities.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including evacuations or lockdowns, in accordance with established procedures.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
