Medical Office Specialist
Location: HCA Florida Miami Electrophysiology
Job Summary Full time (Monday – Friday, days), no nights, no on‑call, no weekends, no holidays. We are seeking a Medical Office Specialist to provide clerical expertise and ensure all patients receive high‑quality efficient care. You will manage front office functions including patient relations, check‑in/check‑out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones; manage filing and retrieval of medical records; and collect and record co‑pays and balance the day in the computer.
Responsibilities
Manage all front office functions including patient relations, check‑in/check‑out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.
Manage filing and retrieving medical records and patient information.
Assist with collecting and recording co‑pays (cash and/or charge) and balancing the day in the computer.
Qualifications
One year of experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred.
