Senior Accountant
Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong general ledger fundamentals and hands-on treasury experience to support a profitable, growing, private equity-backed organization. This role partners closely with the Controller and CFO, owns core accounting and cash functions, and plays a key role in maintaining accuracy, controls, and visibility across the business. The position offers meaningful responsibility, leadership access, and the opportunity to strengthen and streamline accounting processes.
Senior Accountant - Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience

Senior Accountant - Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger ownership
• Proven treasury experience, including daily cash management, bank reconciliations, ACH activity, and credit card reconciliations
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close
• Experience preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting financial statement accuracy
• Ability to support audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
• Solid understanding of debits and credits with the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies independently
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working within ERP systems
• Ability to understand how accounting activity connects to business operations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
Senior Accountant - Preferred Qualifications
• Experience producing or supporting full financial statements
• Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting systems
• Experience improving processes, reconciliations, or internal controls
• Comfort working in a lean, high-visibility environment
• Natural curiosity and desire to understand the business beyond the numbers
