Healthcare We are seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Specialist
to join a growing healthcare organization in
Granger, Indiana . This is a
fully onsite
position offering a collaborative, fast-paced environment where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will bring at least
five years of AP experience , a strong understanding of healthcare operations, and the ability to manage
high-volume invoice processing
with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payments.
Verify, reconcile, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company and healthcare regulations.
Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire payments.
Support month-end close activities such as accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Partner with purchasing, payroll, and accounting teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Assist in implementing internal controls and process enhancements within the AP function.
Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of accounts payable experience , preferably in a
healthcare or multi-entity environment.
Proficiency with
ERP systems
(e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and
Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proven success managing
high-volume invoice processing
in a fast-paced environment.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$48,000-$55,000, depending on experience.
