Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and delivery of high-scale web applications with defined reliability and performance targets
Own multi-team initiatives from discovery through design reviews and phased rollouts
Establish engineering standards and reusable platforms that minimize complexity and long-term tech debt
Mentor and coach engineers to enhance code quality, testing, security, and observability
Collaborate with product, design, data, and security teams to shape roadmaps and align on critical launches
Qualifications
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
12+ years of software engineering experience delivering production web systems
Data engineering experience with large-scale data lakes and proven ability to support OLAP workloads
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate complex use cases into clear technical requirements
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), infrastructure as code, and CI/CD strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with cloud cost optimization and related tools
Development and implementation of end-to-end FinOps strategies with understanding of cloud billing systems
