Director of Educational Strategy – 2 Hour Learning (Remote)
We’re looking for an academic leader to drive the operational excellence of our AI‑driven learning platform. You will shape and deliver a science‑based model that enables students to master academics in just two hours a day.
Base Pay Range:
$200.00/hr – $200.00/hr
Compensation:
$200 USD/hour, $400,000 USD/year (assuming 40 weeks per year). Payment is weekly.
What You Will Be Doing
Develop academic frameworks that convert learning science principles into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivational architecture, and application development.
Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams remain aligned, accountable, and effective in delivering outcomes.
Integrate data, stakeholder interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify impactful barriers to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.
Ensure strategic alignment through structured planning, continuous feedback mechanisms, and milestone management to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
Serve as the public face of 2 Hour Learning in high‑profile forums, including keynote presentations and engagements with Ministries of Education, advancing global discourse on educational transformation.

Engage in isolated curriculum initiatives that do not result in system‑wide impact.
Produce theoretical research disconnected from measurable student outcomes or operational implementation.
Transfer accountability for performance to mid‑level managers or external advisors.
Depend on institutional reputation or abstract frameworks to influence critical stakeholders.
Basic Requirements
Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes.
Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.
Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising.
Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar.
Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions.
Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders.
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high‑performing EdTech venture.
Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.
Deep familiarity with Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks.
