Summary
Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers are responsible for the design, coordination, documentation, and delivery of electrical building systems for an “Anonymous Client” sector, including remodels and new builds for storefront and distribution locations. Tasks may include engineering calculations, preparation and review of design documents, coordination with project teams, task or project management, technical leadership, mentorship, and support of business development activities. All team members are expected to uphold a client‑centric mindset and demonstrate quality, integrity, and collaboration.

Responsibilities
Prepare design documents, system layouts, drawings, schematics and related documentation under supervision.
Assist with engineering calculations, basic design tasks and research on products, systems and applicable codes.
Support review of shop drawings and participate in field verification as directed.
Collaborate with experienced staff to understand client requirements and project scope; act as liaison for client and architect questions.
Support project coordination activities, including scope tracking and schedule coordination.
May participate in business development or pursuit activities under supervision and attend client or industry events.
Foster a client‑centric mindset and assist in client communication as appropriate.
Visit job sites for observation, learning and professional development opportunities.
Continuously seek to expand knowledge and fill gaps in industry or discipline expertise.
Develop proficiency in industry‑standard software such as Revit, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and 1 year of relevant experience, or 4 years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.
Basic proficiency in engineering design, codes, design guides and standards.
Experience in MEP/Construction Industry preferred.
Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
High technical aptitude and ability to learn and apply new systems.
Effective critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and applicable engineering design software.
Clear communication and willingness to ask questions.
Accountability, reliability and ethical behavior.
Commitment to accuracy and quality.
Collaboration and receptiveness to feedback.
