Compensation
Base pay range: $100,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Overview Provide overall management direction for existing projects and develop new business opportunities relative to a particular Owner/Client, group of Owners/Clients, geographical area or type of project. Projects include but are not limited to highway and roadway projects involving road reconstruction, bridge construction, street widening, installation or replacement of roadway drainage systems, dirt excavation, etc.
Essential Responsibilities And Abilities
Oversee all phases of the construction project timeline.
Perform key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest while maintaining good client relationships, responsible for overall profit and loss of each job and proactively seeking profit opportunities.
Handle all correspondence between Contractor and Sub‑Contractor(s).
Perform site visits, monitor progress of construction activities, and hold regular status meetings with all sub‑teams.
Ensure construction activities move according to pre‑determined schedule(s).
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget revisions as necessary.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations.
Work with assigned Superintendent(s) to manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Respond to RFIs, process contract change orders.
Approve all invoices, payroll hours, and manage the billing process.
Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Work with and provide direction to project engineers, field engineers, and coordinators.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
Minimum of 5 years of project engineer experience working heavy civil concrete structures, roadway, bridge, and dirt excavation projects, valued $5 million to $30 million.
Minimum of 2 years of experience successfully managing/supervising less experienced project engineers.
Minimum of 5 years of reading blueprints and specs for heavy civil projects.
Minimum of 5 years responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
