HR Benefits Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Benefits Specialist to join our team on a temporary 36 month assignment in El Cajon, CA. In this role, you will support the HR department in administering employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, compliance, and timely resolution of employee inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations, ensuring accurate recordkeeping in HRIS systems
- Respond to employee questions regarding medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other company benefits
- Prepare and maintain benefits-related documentation and reports for internal and external audits
- Coordinate with vendors, insurance carriers, and internal departments to resolve benefits issues
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies related to employee benefits
- Support HR team with onboarding, offboarding, and benefits communications for new hires and departing employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
- At least 2-3 years of human resources and benefits experience
- Prior experience in HR benefits administration or payroll support is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

- Compensation: $32.00-$40.00 per hour DOE
- Located in El Cajon, San Diego
- Full-time, Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
