Senior Specialist Solutions Architect – End User Computing
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Senior Specialist Solutions Architect to help establish AWS End User Computing (EUC) as the market leader in end user computing. This highly technical role requires a deep understanding of AWS cloud services and the ability to design complex, AWS‑optimized architectures for enterprise customers.
Key Responsibilities
Own technical engagements and ensure success around specific implementation projects, collaborating with customers, partner solutions, professional services, and internal AWS teams.
Design, architect, and implement Amazon WorkSpaces deployments (Personal, Applications, and Core), including migration, modernization, and scaling strategies.
Educate and train customers on AWS EUC solutions through one‑to‑many sessions, knowledge transfer, and best‑practice workshops.
Lead deep architectural discussions with senior technical personnel within customer organizations, building relationships to position AWS as a cloud advocate.
Contribute to the AWS solutions architect community by capturing, sharing, and publishing best‑practice knowledge (whitepapers, blogs, technical guides).
Act as a technical liaison between customers, partners, service engineering teams, and support to drive large, highly complex sales opportunities to closure.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in application and infrastructure environments.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Proven experience architecting, operating, and optimizing AWS‑based solutions.
Practical or pre‑sales experience with VDI solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
Hands‑on knowledge of VDI and DaaS solutions, preferably Amazon WorkSpaces, AppStream, Citrix, or VMware/Omnissa Horizon.

Atlanta, GA – $180,000 – $225,000 per year. This position will remain posted until filled.
