Director of Sales – North America The Director of Sales – North America will manage assigned customer and broker relationships, support pricing and costing activities, coordinate internal cross‑functional execution, and help drive growth with new and existing accounts across North American markets. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role with strong cross‑functional exposure within a tight‑knit team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and expand relationships with assigned customers and brokers, acting as the primary day‑to‑day contact for pricing, forecasts, inquiries and service needs.

Identify, research and pursue new business opportunities; maintain a healthy prospect pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and trade show participation.

Support development of pricing and costing strategies; maintain accurate cost sheets, freight estimates and margin targets.

Collaborate with internal teams – customer service, logistics, finance, QA, production – to ensure smooth order execution, resolve issues, and align on supply and specifications.

Track and report sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline progress using CRM and ERP systems.

Prepare presentations, proposals and account updates; manage customer portals and documentation for pricing, trade spend and compliance.

Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and support long‑term account retention and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or related field preferred.

5+ years of sales or account management experience in food, ingredient, or related industries.

Familiarity with CPG, ingredient, and foodservice sales channels; broker/distributor management experience preferred.

Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel; CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).

Willingness to travel 10‑20%.
