Job Description And Duties Under supervision of the Project Director III, the Project Director II is responsible for providing the overall administrative direction and management of all project phases on one or more infrastructure, medical/mental health projects, major capital outlay and support or special repair projects that are more complex and sensitive in nature.
The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user‑friendly system that provides the applicant with real‑time updates throughout the hiring process. Working Conditions Facility Planning, Construction and Management. Headquarters location offers a secured access facility with an on‑site fitness center, free parking, and a variety of nearby shopping locations. The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy, and will require the employee to report to the office as needed. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
Minimum Requirements See Class Specification for minimum qualifications. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. Unofficial transcripts/diploma may be provided for verification; official transcripts may be required upon appointment. Foreign education credentials must be verified for U.S. equivalency. Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS must complete a Live Scan Fingerprinting background investigation and a tuberculosis test/evaluation before appointment, followed by annual testing thereafter. PDF file format is preferred for supporting documents. CDCR/CCHCS utilizes E‑Verify to confirm the candidate’s identity and employment authorization.
