Title IX Coordinator/Director, Civil Rights Compliance Florida International University invites applications for the Title IX Coordinator/Director role to lead institutional compliance with civil rights laws, including Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, ADA, and university policies.

Responsibilities

Oversight of response and resolution to all reports of sexual misconduct, protected class discrimination, and related misconduct.

Identification and systemic problem resolution for complaints under Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, and ADA, working with university departments.

Coordination of university efforts to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements related to Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, and access policies.

Enforcement of workplace policies regarding disability rights, access, and accommodations, ensuring ADA adherence.

Leadership of a team of professionals and serving as central coordination point for Title IX compliance among university offices and committees.

Oversight of development, implementation, and review of educational programs and initiatives to educate and support the university community regarding rights and obligations to ensure compliance with Title IX and related laws and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related experience in a management role, or Master’s degree and six (6) years of professional related experience in a management role.

Desired Qualifications

Civil rights oversight experience.

Departmental Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in Human Resources or EEO practices.

Essential Work Schedule Begin time: 8:30 AM; End time: 5:00 PM; Ability to work flexible hours as needed; Travel to FIU Campus.
