Endoscopy Tech – Days – Orlando Health Watson Clinic Lakeland Highlands Hospital
Position Summary: Opening Summer 2026 at 4000 Lakeland Highlands Road, Lakeland, FL. The Orlando Health System of Care includes award‑winning hospitals and ERs, specialty institutes, urgent care centers, primary care practices and outpatient facilities that span Florida’s east to west coasts, Central Alabama and Puerto Rico. Combining the collective strengths of Orlando Health and the high‑quality physicians at Watson Clinic, the new Lakeland Highlands Hospital will be a state‑of‑the‑art, seven‑story, multi‑specialty facility offering 300+ inpatient beds, 69 emergency beds, 11 operating rooms, cardiac interventional suites, labor and delivery services with a neonatal intensive care unit, comprehensive cardiovascular, neurology, oncology services and advanced surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
Labels and sends specimens to proper department/location for analysis.
Communicates appropriate information regarding patient status, technical equipment, or unit concerns to necessary healthcare workers.
Prepares procedure area and equipment for procedure.
Maintains, cleans, and stores endoscopic equipment and supplies.
Reprocesses flexible endoscopes according to policy.
Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications (excluding controlled substances and IV chemotherapy drugs) throughout the facility.
May have limited access to areas storing medications.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Completes all Orlando Health mandatory education.
Attends department staff meetings as required.
Assumes responsibility for professional development and continuing education.
Participates in nursing Environments of Care activities as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Training:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Licensure/Certification:
Maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification.
Experience:
One (1) year clinical experience.
