Job Summary
We are the makers of possible and BD continues to lead in medical technology. The Global Integrated Engineering (GIE) Program Management COE Leader will establish and lead a global Center of Excellence (COE) for GIE program management governance. The role creates a standardized, scalable program management approach, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, accelerating innovation, and driving operational excellence across multiple business units worldwide.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain program management standards, methodologies, templates, and processes for consistency across business units.
Establish governance structures and ensure adherence to risk management, reporting, and quality assurance.
Build organizational capability through training, certification programs, and coaching for program managers and engineering leaders.
Define and track performance metrics and provide executive-level reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Align programs with strategic objectives, ensuring transparency in execution.
Select and optimize program management platforms and digital tools for standardized workflows and real-time visibility.
Foster a global network of program managers to share guidelines, lessons learned, and innovation opportunities.

Experience / Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification with healthcare compliance experience strongly preferred.
10+ years of program/project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a global engineering or healthcare organization.
Demonstrated ability to implement standardized program management practices across complex, regulated environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills in a matrixed global organization.
Domestic and international travel up to 10%.

Salary Range
$177,700.00 – $293,100.00 USD Annual
