Role Overview

Senior individual contributor role focused on

new business acquisition

across air and ocean freight

Geographic focus on

New York, New Jersey, and the wider Northeast

Authority to commercialise a book of relationships and pre-existing customer connections, where contractually permitted

Direct ownership of pipeline development, account conversion, and sustainable revenue growth

Key Responsibilities

Win new air and ocean freight business across import and export markets

Convert existing industry relationships into new customer accounts

Engage decision-makers across procurement, supply chain, and logistics leadership

Develop and execute a structured new business sales strategy aligned with margin and yield expectations

Work closely with operations to ensure service reliability, client retention, and long-term account value

Required Experience

Proven track record in

air and ocean freight sales

within a freight forwarding or international logistics environment

Demonstrated success winning new business in the

New York / Northeast market

Established book of relationships and the ability to attract new accounts

Strong understanding of international freight pricing, margins, and commercial negotiations

Hunter profile with the credibility to operate independently at senior level
