Base Pay Range
$140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
The Litigation Associate will support an intellectual property litigation practice by managing a wide range of legal responsibilities related to IP disputes. While a technical background is not required, the ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general litigation, excellent legal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing, and revising motions, pleadings, and briefs in intellectual property matters
Managing discovery, including preparing and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and deposition‑related materials
Assisting with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and related proceedings before the USPTO and other adjudicative bodies
Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on non‑patent intellectual property issues
Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Supporting trial preparation, case analysis, and litigation strategy as needed
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
2‑4 years of experience in general litigation
Excellent analytical, research, and writing abilities
Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and work independently
Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
