Technical Recruiter at UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies Bowhead seeks a Network Specialist, Senior to support the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) Integrated Technical Services – Restricted (HITS-R) contract located in San Diego, CA. The role provides technical and professional support elements for the HPCMP Office (HPCMPO) throughout planning and execution of the program mission, including technical and administrative support, program management support, meeting facilities, and office environment. The position also includes full telecommunications and computer systems capability and full logistical services.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and concern major systems design, integration, and implementation.

Provide quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing software products.

Analyze and design hardware, software, man-machine interfaces, and all system level requirements to provide integrated IT solutions.

Develop integrated system test requirements, strategies, devices, and systems; direct overall system level testing.

Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions; design or customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency.

Analyze and design databases within an application area; work individually or coordinate database development as part of a team.

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for a wide range of industries.

Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements; design embedded systems software as needed.

Qualifications

BA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field is required; a combination of experience and education may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Four years (4+) of relevant technical experience.

Intermediate‑to‑advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment, able to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.

Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.

Salary range is between $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level, and may be required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire. US Citizenship is required for Top Secret clearance at this location.
