Job Description:

  • The Patient Services Representative II represents the face of the company to patients.
  • This role involves collecting high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a professional, safe, and patient-focused environment.
  • The PSR II explains procedures clearly, ensures accuracy and confidentiality of patient information, and may be assigned to a doctor s office, a patient service center, or other locations as needed.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to company policies, procedures, dress code, and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to make decisions using established procedures and good judgment.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver s license if required.
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations with minimal notice.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Keyboard and data entry skills.
Experience:
  • 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Experience in a patient service center preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service settings preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor direction.
  • Maintain a safe and professional environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information and signatures to ensure proper labeling.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and the public.
Should Have:
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualification And Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
