Director of Pharmacy Location: Roosevelt, UT

What they’re looking for:

Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.

Utah Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.

3–5 years of recent hospital experience.

Hours and compensation potential:

Full‑time position. Work 7–10 hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Salary range between $146,000 and $190,000 depending on experience.

Full benefit package, including sign‑on/relocation bonus of $20,000.

What you’ll be doing:

Direct the department’s activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.

Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technology, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality‑control objectives.

Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding.

Coordinate and direct internal and external audits.

Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth.

Integrate evidence‑based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).

Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work; ensure quality standards; responsible for hiring, terminating, training, developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.

Facility is a 39‑bed Joint Commission Accredited facility with a three‑story Women’s Center and Infusion Center; it is a designated Level IV Trauma Center, a Stroke Receiving Facility by the Utah State Department of Health, Chest Pain‑Accredited, and offers a wide range of specialty services.
