General Summary:
Central Software Engineering (CSE) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineering Operations Manager. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between Finance, Engineering, Program Management, Staffing, Procurement, and IT. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of Qualcomm's financial planning and reporting systems, including Tempus, TM1, and Tableau.
The primary responsibilities include collaborating with CSE engineering leads and the Central Program Management organization to enhance the tracking and reporting of resource gaps across projects.
Additionally, the role focuses on incorporating AI solutions to improve efficiency and performance. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Engineering Operations, the candidate will play a key role in CSE’s participation in Qualcomm’s OpEx transformation project.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field.
Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
Principal Duties:
Drive process improvements for tracking and reporting resource gaps across projects.
Lead CSE’s participation in Qualcomm’s OpEx transformation project.
Lead meetings to review and analyze data with functional Engineering teams.
Utilize technical skills to work with engineering leads to evaluate budget requests and provide guidance on the optimal use of resources.
Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities across various corporate systems impacting the CSE organization.
Partner with Procurement to create and track SOWs for Engineering engagements.
Maintain and implement department and project attributes to enable dynamic planning and reporting.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range: $153,600.00 - $230,400.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
