This emergency‑essential position provides critical system and program support for the Department of Human Services' Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) system, serving all 24 local Departments of Social Services and Baltimore City. Responsibilities include: In Maryland, this is an emergency‑essential position. You may be needed to work long and irregular hours with little or no notice, on call, and in an emergency, including weekends, holidays, and after‑hours support as needed. Provides first‑level system assistance to all EPPIC users throughout the state, guiding local department staff in operational processes. Compiles data in response to EBT data requests from DHS administration or other agencies/organizations. Reviews and resolves EBT system issues (Incidents) assigned to the EBT Office via JIRA, originating from the OTHS System Support Level I Help Desk. Notifies USDA/FNS and DHS OIG of potential retailer and customer fraud. Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet all minimum qualifications to be considered. Experience: Two years of experience providing problem analysis and ongoing user support, coordinating system development and implementation, and training users on the functionality of applications for agency or statewide systems housed on mainframe computers or large client server platforms. Desired Qualifications

One year experience working with Family Investment Administration. One year of project management experience in IT systems. One year of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. One year of experience overseeing program/system functions. Benefits
