This contract position is based on-site in Lewiston and is ideal for medical professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of rheumatology while working in a supportive staffing and recruiting environment.
In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various rheumatological conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Educate patients and their families about rheumatological diseases
Stay current with advancements in rheumatology and best practices
Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree
Associate level experience in Rheumatology
Valid medical license to practice in the state
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Knowledge of current rheumatological treatments and therapies
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call coverage required
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Census: 20 patients
Patient Population: Adults
Facility: Lab draws on site, 4 infusion rooms
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 1 physician, 1 APP
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & lodging
